If you run a small business in South Tyrol with up to 10 employees, the province can cover up to 60 % of your digitalisation costs. That includes websites, online shops, social media management, software and training, on eligible costs between 2,000 and 15,000 €. Here is a short overview, based on what we know in autumn 2026.
What it is and who can apply
The province of South Tyrol runs a grant for the digitalisation of micro businesses. It covers up to 60 % of eligible costs between 2,000 and 15,000 €, so the maximum grant is 9,000 €. You can submit one application per year.
The grant is aimed at micro businesses with up to 10 employees in crafts and trades, retail, services, industry and tourism. In the Vinschgau (Val Venosta) that covers a lot of firms: the joiner in Schlanders, the shop in Mals, the guesthouse in Prad am Stilfserjoch.
One open question is farm holiday businesses. Because they count as agricultural, it is not clear whether they are eligible. That needs checking case by case, and we are happy to look at it with you.

- training and coaching, for example AI courses
Deadlines and key rules
Until now the deadline has always been 30 September. The most important rule: you must apply before the project is finished. The safest option is to apply before you start. Your invoices also need to carry certain details about the funded project, so it pays to plan this from day one. We keep an eye on these details for you.
From time to time the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce also offers vouchers. The windows are short and it is first come, first served.
