The idea
Farm products straight from the producer, all over South Tyrol: fruit and vegetables, cheese, honey, preserves, baked goods and handmade items. regional.bz brings farms and customers together in one place. Buying and paying happen directly at the farm.
How we did it
Understand
Customers want to know who has what right now. Farms want to list their products quickly on their phone.
Build
Mobile first, with PHP and MariaDB. Map with OpenStreetMap, radius search right in the database, German and Italian.
Support
The demo is live to try. The pilot starts in April 2027.
